On one of the days the Canadians were here, we took a city bus and went past the Verona city boundary to Parona.
After a morning cappucino and risino (small sweet rice cakes) we went to Falcetto, a quilt store. Riding on the bus you could see a piece of an aqueduct built by the romans, that brought water to Verona, .
Cristian, one of the owners, demonstrated for us a few new techniques for using scraps in quilt making. He was great! We all wanted to get home and sew!!
Quilters are all the same no matter where they come from... we all bought more fabric!
hmm ... quilters and quilt stores look the same the world over! Looks like fun/1
