When I walked by the little church, the door was locked. I saw this through the key hole.

Busy Life

Photo Diary, July 15

Walking with a mission! The women here are busy every day picking up fresh groceries in the Piazza, preparing substantial lunches, which is the main meal of the day, for their visiting families, harvesting produce from their large gardens, and generally taking care of business!

I, on the other hand, am just resting and laughing all day! No busy life for me right now.

Touring Exhibit

Back in June, I participated in a textile show. The theme; Radiation. To read about it click here and here.

I did not attend the exhibit in Geneva, Switzerland but I recently heard from German curator, Angelika Henrichs, that it was very well received.

This exhibit has been invited to the Carrefour EuropĂ©en du Patchwork, 20th anniversary, in Val D'Argent, France (September 2014) and at the Patchworktreffen in Prague, Czech Republic (April 2015).

It was an honour to be invited to participate!

I am diligently setting aside some time to make journal entries, even though I am in "holiday mode".

Towards the end of the day,  I climbed down about 150 steps to a beach... draw rock sculptures that someone had made.

Panting on the way up, I swallowed a bug!! I stopped at the bar which over looks that beach to wash it down with a glass of prosecco. Ahhhh, holidays.

The wind has picked up and the waters were too rough to swim in.

Fresh Lemons in Italy

It has been about a week since my last post. I am on holidays in the south of Italy as per usual so I will post when I have internet.

I arrived in my apartment and the landlord had a plate of fresh lemons picked from his tree waiting for me.

I am making journal entries often.

I wake up to this view every morning. It is the view from my terrace.
